I moved to London exactly ten years ago…
…off the back of 8 years in New York City’s run & gun, experiential turned branded content world, l landed in London. A hungry as hell marketer, self-taught filmmaker and culturally driven creative, with a lot to prove.
In New York I rode the first YouTube bubble. Working with brands to publish series on everything from Wu Tang & sneaker culture, to death metal & drag racing. Subcultures were king and my role was to connect brands to them.
But missing from my portfolio was a deeper understanding of brands and advertising. So, when I moved to London, I enrolled in London College of Communication to earn my masters degree in Marketing & Communications.. Here, I put common sense & raw experience to theory & academic.
This portfolio covers the work I’ve created during my time here in London. Included are projects from social/creative agencies to more recent work in publishing and brand partnerships.
The progression in my work mirrors, quite accurately, the ebb and flow of our creative industry. Amidst the changing landscape, and across different brands, platforms and audiences, the mission to seek human connection through my work remained constant and resulted in a smorgasbord of executions… I’ve published well over a thousand films, and now have podcasts, studio builds, UN youth charity programs and a killer hot sauce in the books.
My mission, when I started out at Engine’s social agency, Spreading Jam, through my current role as Group Creative Director at Brave Bison, has been the same; to make things people love, with people who inspire me, for the biggest audiences possible.
